Another year of experience and growth has helped the Bristol Wasps U-10 indoor soccer squad to their best finish, a victory in the recent Frostbite Championship.

Only two years ago, the local booters finished without a win for the season; last year, the squad finished one win away from the Session 2 crown, Coach Peter Squatrito explained during a recent interview.

Squatrito, who's watched his son, Christian, advance through the younger age brackets leading to the Under-10 division, also said he's seen his squad grow into better players and a team.

"They got a little bit better each year they learned that you have to pass, you have to play defense, you have to stop the goals, and each year, they started getting it more and working as a team instead of just kicking the ball and running as fast as you can after it," Squatrito explained.
