Fall 2026 Rec Program Registration
The Bristol Youth Soccer Association (BYSA) Fall 2026 Recreational Program registration is now open. This is a 6-week program for children born between August 1st, 2014 and July 31st, 2024. The season will start in early September. Please see below for age group information:

All training and games will be at the soccer fields located near the town beach in Colt State Park.
Cost: $136
Deadline for registration is August 30th. There is limited space in each age group (see table above). Late registrations will not be accepted. Requests to move up or down age groups need to be made by email to recdirector@bristolyouthsoccer.com prior to the close of registration.

An additional $4.00 will also be charged upon registration for use of the GotSport App. After completion of your registration, we will be sending out instructions for downloading and using the app for all things BYSA. The app will be our main mode of communication for schedules, rainouts, picture day information, uniform pickup, etc.
Families will receive a 20% sibling discount for each additional child after the first one, but all children must be registered in the same shopping cart for the discount to be applied.
Coaches are needed to run teams on game days for 4 v 4 and 7 v 7 groups. Any parent willing to coach will receive a 50% discount on their child’s registration. Email recdirector@bristolyouthsoccer.com more information.
New Referee Training
To become a new referee visit the Rhode Island State Referee Committee website at the following: https://risrc.us/become-a-
Once registered, complete the online modules (about 6 hours) and then register for one of the upcoming field sessions (Currently 8/15 in Smithfield or 8/23 in N Kingstown however we are looking to get one in the East Bay area). The SuperLiga season starts on 9/12.
The individual needs to be at least 13 years old

Important News: BYSA will be moving its players registration from the current calendar year (January 1 – December 31) to the newly adopted school year system (August 1 – July 31.
